As you can imagine I am on cloud nine from the weekend. E-Gals father had tickets in the 200 Level at the 50 yard line. The half-time ceremony still gives me chills when I watch it. This was essentially our view if it was centered. Brian deserved every cheer the crowd gave him and the Eagles did a fantastic job of making the night one to remember.
The Eagles beat the Giants after two missed field goals and didn't turn the ball over a single time. Honestly I don't remember each and every play because I was so excited for half-time.
3-1 going into Pittsburgh is a pretty decent place to be. The Steelers can give us fits, but if we can win there I think that will speak volumes for our season as a whole.
I leave you with a quote that sums up the weekend:
"We can only hope that you can hear us because in the background, the most exuberant uniform retirement ceremony we have ever witnessed is going on for Brian Dawkins.” - Bob Costas during halftime of the Eagles-Giants Sunday Night Football on NBC 9/30/12
